Blessed...(continued)

Sitting in my home enjoying the stillness of peace, the stillness is briefly interrupted by the sound of arguing. It is immediately silenced by the sound of my voice giving a directive to cease.

There are two people in front of me, though both my children they are walking juxtapositions. One tall one short, one female one male, one loud one quiet; each with different personalities likes and dislikes two sides of the story, yet they are one.

"But mom", one child begins to speak but is then interrupted by the other; "No. I didn't do anything it was..." "Close your mouths and listen", I say. Realizing one has wronged the other and I must bring correction.

Feeling King Solomonesque I say to them each one of you will choose the others punishment. Suddenly, Grinch like smiles went across their faces. Temporarily. I then advised you also have the power to cancel the other persons punishment which will also cancel your own.

Ahhh, peace again at last.
